360 VR

[:no]Da jeg og mine kollegaer Markus Luukkonen (FI) og Tom van Outryve (BE) i trioen 3Troubadours framførte vår forestilling Mobile Dreams i Edinburgh i april i år ville vår lokale fotograf Andy teste ut et kinesisk 360 graders prototypekamera. Vi filmet hele forestillingen og prøvde både å ha kameraet i publikumsposisjon og plassert på scenen. Vi var ikke helt sikre på hvordan vi faktisk skulle bruke det, men nedenfor ser du noen av resultatene. Kan sees både med og uten et VR headset.

Om litt mindre enn en måned vender vi tilbake til Edinburgh. Vi skal ha forestilling på åpningskvelden til Scottish International Storytelling Festival den 20. oktober. Mens vi er der har vi planer om å starte arbeidet med et nytt felles prosjekt, og fotografen vår har spurt om vi vil teste ut nye muligheter når det gjelder 360 graders filming. Hvis vi får mulighet, er planen å lage en VR-teaser![:en]When I and my colleagues Markus Luukkonen (FI) and Tom van Outryve (BE) of the trio 3Troubadours performed our show Mobile Dreams in Edinburgh in April this year our local photographer Andy wanted to test his Chinese prototype 360 degrees camera. We filmed the entire show and tried both putting the camera on the front row of the audience and on stage. We weren’t that certain on how to actually use it, but below you can see some of the results. You can view the clips both with and without a VR headset.

In a bit less than a month we will return to Edinburgh. We are going to perform at the opening night of The Scottish International Storytelling Festival the 20th of October. While we are there we have plans to start working on a new common project, and our photographer has asked us if we would like to experiment more regarding 360 degrees filming. If we get the opportunity, our plan is to make a VR-teaser![:]
