Med Livet som ManusYour Life as a Script

Kurs på Skuespillersenteret!
Den 18. og 19. februar er jeg kursholder på Norsk Skuespillersenter under parolen Med Livet som Manus.

Dokumentariske forestillinger er i vinden. Den personlige historien blir i økende grad brukt som kunstnerisk medium også utover scenen, fra Knausgård til Salongen på NRK P2.

Med livet som manus er et kurs med basis i disse strømningene.

Med utgangspunkt i deltakernes idéer/skisser, vil kursholder Torgrim Mellum Stene presentere ulike verktøy og innfallsvinkler til å bearbeide dokumentarisk materiale for scenen.

Vi vil se på forholdet mellom virkelighet og fiksjon, og hva som gjør at en historie kan gå fra å være privat til å bli universell.

Kurset er åpent for profesjonelle skuespillere og fortellere, og andre profesjonelle scenekunstnere som ønsker å jobbe med/utvikle dokumentarisk materiale.

Workshop at the Norwegian Actor’s Center!
The 18th and the 19th of February I will facilitate a workshop with the headline Your Life as a Script.

Biographical performances are part and parcel of the artistic zeitgeist. The personal story is increasingly used as an artistic medium both on and off the stage.

In Your Life as a Script Torgrim Mellum Stene will present different tools and perspectives to work with staging biographical material.

We will examine the relationship between reality and fiction, and what makes a story go from private to universal.

The workshop is open for professional actors and storytellers, and other performance artists wishing to work with/develop biographical material.
