Tales of War is a cooperation between myself and Amir Masood Mirzai. This project has recently received 100.000 NOK in support from Spenn.no (A Norwegian grant for productions meant for school tours). This tops the 50.000 we’ve already received from the free speech-organisation Fritt Ord. Tales of War will have a first premiere at Fortellerscenen the 29th of February. From then on we will apply for a school tour in secondary schools in Norway. Tales of War is a tandem performance about Amir’s personal and particular experiencs from his time as a communications officer during the Iran-Iraq war.
